As an account manager and business development manager of ACREW you have to enable that the needs of the customers are well looked after and that the services provided to the clients are of the best quality. Additionally, you are responsible for bringing in clients and making sure that the clients stay longer.
Here are details on some of the responsibilities:
Account Management: Communication: Competent communicator with knowledge on how to speak to clients on phone, manage client meetings as chairperson and keep clients updated with the latest happenings of the company.
As our clients are mostly English, French and Spanish natives it is essential to be fluent in English and preferably have some knowledge of French and Spanish.
Project Management: Manage company projects and dedicate tasks to every team member. We are looking for a team player and a person that gets tasks done.
Customer relationship management: - You take charge of the company’s customer relationship management platforms such as Insightly, Trello, Mailchimp and Asana. Knowledge of and experience with these kind of platforms is essential. - Understanding client’s businesses and needs: - One of the key ways of keeping clients satisfied and feel looked after is to demonstrate to them that you understand their business and needs.
Culturally Sensitive: - The superyacht sector is a very global industry. This sector covers people from nearly every ethnic group. We expect you to respect everyone’s cultural values and being able to adapt to every setting when required. A good sense of ethics is required which enables you to manage every client without being biased
Business Development: Identifying leads: - You are capable of spotting business opportunities, bringing out relevant prospects and transforming these prospects into clients. Identifying leads for a company could seem easy but transforming these leads into paying clients is a task that can only be done by a competent person
Selling services: - You will seek contact with prospects, listen to their business needs and tailors a proposal to fit their needs. Both by cold calling, networking and email marketing
Maintaining a good relationship with clients: - You need to know how to establish a healthy relationship with the clients and enable that they feel they are with the right people. You are expected to bring an increase in clients and client retention.
Innovation: - Considering the competition in the superyacht market selling requires creativity along the channel and we expect you to be very competent regarding this aspect. We invite you to create new ideas and find ways to sell these ideas
Events: - During our events you take pride in your role representing ACREW and its partners. We also ask you to be hands on and assist wherever you can. Travelling is an essential part of the job – count on being away for about 6-8 weeks a year.
